ShorelineLocal ("we," "our," or "us") operates the ShorelineLocal mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our App.

Information We Do Not Collect

ShorelineLocal is designed with your privacy in mind. We do not:

• Require you to create an account or provide any personal information
• Collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other identifying information
• Track your precise location
• Share any data with third-party advertisers
• Sell your data to anyone, ever

Information Stored on Your Device

The App stores your saved events locally on your device using standard mobile storage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.

Event Data

ShorelineLocal displays publicly available event information sourced from local event listings and venues in the Southwest Michigan lakeshore region. This data is retrieved from our servers and does not include any personally identifiable information.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services to function:

• Supabase — our database provider, used to store and serve event listings. No personal user data is stored in our database. Supabase's privacy policy is available at supabase.com/privacy.
• Unsplash — used to display event photography. Image requests are made to Unsplash's API. Unsplash's privacy policy is available at unsplash.com/privacy.
• OpenStreetMap / Nominatim — used for venue geocoding on our backend. No user location data is sent to this service.

Children's Privacy

ShorelineLocal does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The App does not collect personal information from any users, including children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
